The carefully crafted box features three refined objects: sculptural espresso cups, a carved marble tray, and sustainable coasters made from repurposed date seeds.
At the heart of the collection are the espresso cups, designed by Studio D04 and crafted through slip casting. The design captures the fleeting moment when wind shapes the ripples of sand dunes, blending traditional craftsmanship with modern parametric techniques.
The marble tray, made from natural stone, serves as both a functional base and a sculptural accent. Its smooth, veined surface contrasts beautifully with the tactile form of the cups, elevating the overall composition. Designed to be both a practical accessory and a statement piece, it adds quiet luxury to any living space.
Completing the set are the date seed coasters, made from the world’s first solid surface material derived from roasted date seeds. Sourced from ARDH Collective, each square meter of this innovative material repurposes over 1,000 seeds. The coasters carry a subtle roasted scent, sensory detail that embodies sustainability, craftsmanship, and the cultural depth of Emirati heritage.
The collection is housed in a sleek black box, with a dual-layer interior that reveals each object as part of a tactile, immersive experience. From the curves of the cups to the bold veining of the marble tray, every detail has been carefully considered to elevate both the act of gifting and the objects themselves.
