Built forty years ago by its owner together with his mother, Al Safa Villa had become more than a house; it held four decades of family life. As the family grew across three generations, the challenge was not to replace the old home, but to ask more of it without erasing what made it meaningful. The existing structure, original arches and timber were retained and restored, while the architecture was carefully reconfigured for a contemporary way of living. In a city that constantly rebuilds, the decision here was to keep, allowing the house to evolve without losing the memory held within it.
